Strategy

​Effective culturally responsive strategy requires a proactive and consistent response that involves: 

  • Actively recruiting and maintaining a culturally diverse workforce.

  • Recognising the value of and seeking collaboration and partnership with external stakeholders to promote and enhance culturally responsive practices.  

  • Building relationships, sharing resources, and prompting collaborative learning about culturally responsive practice across the child and family and human services sectors.

  • Valuing contributions to sector capacity building which includes community and sector-based collaborative child protection awareness and education activities.
